Grants - Financial support

General information

Financial support will be available for students and, on a more restrictive basis, for researchers with a demonstrated lack of alternative funding to attend SAGE 2022. Applicants in either category must actively participate in the meeting by presenting a paper (oral or poster). Please fill in this grant application form and send it to info@sage2022.org, the the deadline for grant applications is June 15, 2022.

Student grants

We are offering a limited number of grants to support the participation of students in SAGE 2022. In order to be eligible, students must provide proof of their status by attaching a respective certificate and a support letter from their supervisor or mentor. Applications including presentation abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee and ranked based on the perceived scientific potential of the applicant, the quality of the paper to be presented at SAGE 2022, and the possibility to obtain funding from other sources. Preference will generally be given to MSc and PhD students.

Support for researchers

A small number of grants will also be available to support researchers with a sound scientific record and a demonstrated lack of alternative funding to attend SAGE 2022. Applications including presentation abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee and ranked based on the scientific record of the applicant, the quality of the paper to be presented at SAGE 2022, and the possibility to obtain funding from other sources. Preference will generally be given to junior researchers, particularly from SE Asia.
